I have seen it happen way too many times. A new golfer steps up to the golf ball for the first time in their life. Nervous as can be. After settling over the golf ball for two minutes they finally pull the trigger. The ball promptly flies 70 yards right of their intended target and lands into the green-side pond. Not a problem. They just drop another ball and hit it again. Plunk! Yet another golf ball is wet. I've seen this happen time and time again. New golfers getting discouraged and quitting before they ever had a chance to really enjoy the game. I personally don't like to see this happen. I enjoy the game of golf very much and I want to see others enjoy it as well.

I'm sure you've heard the phrase "practice makes perfect". It couldn't be anymore true when it comes to the game of golf. The more you practice the better you'll become. Here's what you need to do. Go to the range at least twice a week and play a round of golf at least three times a month. Take a few balls outside and chip around as much as you can. Practice your putting stroke every night before you go to bed.

I may sound like a fanatic when it comes to the game of golf. That's because I am. You simply cannot practice enough when it comes to developing a consistent golf swing. The majority of professional golfers are great at what they do because they eat, drink and sleep golf everyday. If this is how the professionals become great then how do beginners become good without taking time to practice?
