Keep in mind that it is not necessary to do very long weight training sessions, just make sure that you lift enough weight that challenges you and maintains good muscle mass. You do not need that much muscle to hit the ball very far so do not overdo it and try to become a monster physically thinking that is the key to playing better. Instead focus on the short game and improving your swing mechanics to lower your scores further once you do learn how to hit the ball far.
