Golf Shafts - The Engine of the Golf Club... does technology play such a big role? Well, each year, the major shaft makers put an astronomical amount of money into their R&D to keep pace with other shaft makers. And, with a little luck, that R&D might pay off with an advanced design or technology that allows their shaft to outperform their competitors. This has happened many times in recent years. For example, Rifle Project X shaft has frequency matching, stepless design, rifling, and flighted technology. Fujikura has the Triax technology. And Aldila boasts the Next-Generation Micro Laminate technology with Carbon Nano Tubes. Bottom line, shaft technology ...

The Power of the Core-Breathing For Golf

The core/breathing connection for golf, is a program that develops core/breathing coordination to the act of creating your swing. The power of core/breathing within creating your swing reduces stress in shoulders which gives the mind ability to coordinate the swing to the feet and hands. To improve a golf swing should start with the core/breathing connection to the feet and develop a strong mind feeling between feet and core. This will give a sense of balance by feeling your your weight resting on your feet then in turn that feeling give an sense of being grounded. The affect of being grounded comes about through relaxed shoulders for the greater the sense of being grounded more flexible the shoulders will be. Once that is established then comes core/breathing to the hands and all specific groups muscles to be energize at address. The power of core/breathing connection is the working relationship between the mind/body coordination to build a golf swing.

The concept here is the relationship between core and breathing for there is an interconnection in order for a person to generate strength for physical movement. Core with out breathing is weak muscle strength in the core it self and breathing with out the core movement makes small breath and that makes a person weak. When the two are being directed and controlled by the mind to do a physical activity that makes physical strength for high performance within any sport. The way you control your core and breathing within a physical activity affects the strength you can generate to do the activity. In this case, the power of core/breathing is for the golf swing. Each sport uses core/breathing little differently to enhance performance, so finding what is the most effective way to use core/breathing is the art of this program. To create the golf swing, the science of movement to create a powerful golf swing is know but how to energize that movement is the art of implementation. Core/breathing is the energizing force for any physical sport and its true for the golf swing.

By developing and engaging the core/breathing as the source of your strength to shape and build your swing, lessons the chance of injuries to the lower back. The core is the stabilizer of the hips within the golf swing and having control of the different core muscles during your swing prevents injuries. Core has low force without breathing and how you create your breath effects core abilities to influence muscles action.

Lower back injuries in the golf swing is the direct effect of the core being weak and or not being used effectively in the swing. There are two points here, a weak core will cause person to use the wrong muscles to create their swing and the other effect having weak core is a person will create their swing using the shoulders as the main force and not the whole body. It takes a very conscious directive mind process to engage the right muscles to form a golf swing and the core is the source of strength with an effective breathing form for the golf swing. Learning the golf swing by engaging the power of core/breathing before, during and after each swing affects your muscles throughout the whole body but the lower back effect is the center point because of the core connection.

The power of core/breathing for golf is about engaging the hips at setup to be able to turn them fast with out hurting the spine or body. Persons strength and balance starts from the core area and goes to feet, hands and head thereby core/breathing replaces stress in shoulders and lets or makes arms and hand active. What makes the relationship between core and breathing is this natural force within the torso to generate energy for strength in muscles through out the body.

The first tip to affect your swing and game is changing your stress in shoulders at address, and what makes your shoulders relaxed the fastest is breathing and breathing by engaging the core forms the largest breath range and that is fact. By simply working your core to create inhale and exhale and the mind directs the muscles to do it has the reflex of changing stress in shoulders. What people do not do is exhale for its hard when your holding lot of stress energy in shoulders and if you do not know how to discharge the shoulder energy. People have to learn to use their exhale to effect stress and tension energy in muscle through out the body. By using the core area as a force to exhale will give the mind ability to relax the shoulders if person choose to relax shoulders. The mind directs energy in the body so where does person want their energy is a choice.

There are four parts to create your core/breathing in this program and the mind directs the interacts between core and breathing to affect stress in shoulders and strength within your golf swing. In the beginning everyone of these techniques has to be done very, very slowly so the mind/body connection has time to be develop to change stress and be more muscle active between the hands and feet. The slower you go in the beginning the faster the affects later on.

People that have high stress in shoulders have short or small inhalation and exhalation ability. But as the shoulders relaxes breath range increases and feeling of your body increases by having less tension and rigidness. So 25 long exhales by pulling the belly button in to spine before your first swing and on each exhale there is a releasing of shoulder tension creates a whole body feeling so the mind can begin bring it self into focus to create your golf swing. If if you include long exhales within stretching before you start your game will enhances the affects of stretching feeling so the mind can feel the bodies muscles.

This is the beginning idea of how to have less stress in shoulders with each swing and less chance of injuries to the lower back and enhance performance in your swing all this come with core/breathing training within your swing. Change your physical stress in shoulders and you change your emotional connection to your swing. Core/breathing is the most effective way of changing stress in shoulders and tension in muscles and being physically stronger for it all goes together.

If performance is a goal in your golf game the core/breathing is the foundation for high performance with less injuries.
